Autumn has arrived and no better place to enjoy the season than in New England. Fall is the season for pumpkin spice lattes, apple picking, cozy fires, and Halloween. We love bringing that fall spirit into our interiors but that doesn't mean pumpkins and faux spider webs in every corner of your home. The feeling of fall can be incorporated into your interior space with soft textures, rich colors, and just a small sprinkling of the typical fall motifs.

This faux fur blanket is perfect for chilly weather. Faux fur is a huge trend in fashion and interior trends tend to follow the fashion trends, so why not add a little faux fur to your home. The cream color is perfect for a muted fall color palette and it gives off the cozy vibes we love for fall.

This wreath would look great on your front door, especially if you have a dark front door, those yellows would really pop. It would also be a beautiful accent above a fireplace mantel. The colors and textures are the perfect way to show you're in the autumn spirit.

Autumn decor should involve all of the senses - this pumpkin clove soy candle will fill your home with scents of pumpkin, orange, vanilla and cinnamon. Plus the jar itself is a beautiful golden fall color.

This area rug brings in the rich hues of the fall season with reds, yellows, oranges, and navy. It's a perfect year-round piece for your living or dining room and can be a great starter for determining the color palette in your room. In spring and summer pull the yellows and blues out but in cooler months pull the reds and oranges out with your decor and accents.

The texture of this woven wall hanging is just beautiful, it's like a favorite cable knit sweater for your walls. The neutral color palette will complement any decor style and it will seamlessly transition into the cooler months to come.

A cozy accent chair in a bold color, like this merlot, makes a statement in a room. The heathered weave fabric adds another layer of texture to the room. The perfect chair for curling up by the fire or taking a nap on a lazy fall afternoon.

Throw pillows are an easy, economical way to change up your seasonal decor. They're also a great way to experiment with pops of color if going bold on a chair frightens you. Pro tip: buy high quality pillow inserts and make sure all of your seasonal pillows are the same size, then you're only storing pillow covers in the off season, not trying to find room to store full pillows.

interior_decor_round_woven_basket_tray_interior_design

Baskets are a great way to add texture to a room and the natural wood tones immediately add warmth to any space. This basket could be used as a stylish tray on a coffee table or to anchor the centerpiece on a dining room table.

Think outside the box when it comes to developing your fall color palette. Adding a few splashes of blues or greens, the complements to the reds and oranges traditionally associated with fall, will make those fall colors really pop. The wood on this lamp adds to the warmth of the fixture.
