This past weekend we took a trip to the Brimfield Antique Show. We were sourcing a few small pieces for clients including artwork, dining chairs and mirrors - we didn't find everything on our list but we did pretty well. We'll be sharing the things that we actually purchased with you once we deliver them to our clients' homes. But in the meantime, here are some of the other fun things we found while we walked around. If you’ve never been to Brimfield, we highly recommend you check it out when it comes back to town this summer. There is so much to browse – art, jewelry, home decor, antiques and collector's items, etc. It's a lot of walking so wear comfy shoes and dress for hot weather so you don't melt.

We loved the way this vendor set up her booth - really beautiful and easy to navigate. She had a great selection and mix of rustic, farmhouse and industrial items.

A rainbow of yarn spools.

vintage_display_dishes_green_cabinet

Isn't the color on this cabinet great!? Displaying a collection of stoneware or other white dishes against this beautiful color would really make it pop.

antique_vintage_fire_extinguisher

Patina, rust, wear and time make everything look more interesting - even something as simple as a fire extinguisher.

We loved these wooden frames with the scroll work inside - we didn't end up purchasing any because we just didn't have a current project that could use them. But we took a business card and can hopefully work them into a future project.

vintage_fan_aqua_antique_brimfield_home_decor

Vintage Westinghouse fan, loved the color and despite a few rust spots, it's still in working condition.

chair_plant_stand_vintage

We have a client with a few old chairs that don't have seats and we're considering making them into planters for her porch, just like this vendor has done.

home_decor_birds_nest_eggs

This bird's nest would look awesome in a terrarium or glass cloche on a bookshelf.
