It’s the final day of #The30DayHomeRefresh! Today we’re taking it outside and talking about curb appeal. Here are some of our favorite ideas for refreshing the outside of your home.

It’s Day 29 – time to tackle that junk drawer! It’s the black hole in everyone’s house. Once we organize it today, maintain it by purging it every other month or so, to keep it in check. Just go through it while you’re on the phone or waiting for dinner to finish up in the oven.

It’s Day 28 of The 30 Day Home Refresh. Today’s focus is on creating a drop zone in your entryway. How do you and your family enter your house? Is it through the front door? Side door? Garage? Wherever you enter your home, that’s the area we are focusing on today. Often times, the area that we use to come in and out of our home might not be all that spacious, so we’re going to look at ways to maximize what little space you might have. Think about what your family needs as they’re running out the door or what they need to put down as soon as they come in the house – jackets, phones, purses, backpacks, shoes, the mail, etc.

Today is Day 27 of The 30 Day Home Refresh and today we’re talking about applying a fresh coat of paint. You could repaint an entire room or do an accent wall for a pop of color. We’re going to provide you with some tips and tricks to select a paint color for your home and we’ll share with you some of our all-time favorite paint colors.

It’s Day 26 of The 30 Day Home Refresh and today we’re going to style your coffee table. Your coffee table has to be functional but it can also be beautiful and a place to showcase things that bring you joy.

It’s Day 25 of #The30DayHomeRefresh – an easy way to refresh a room and add some personality is to hang artwork on your walls. If your walls are bare, consider adding purchased artwork, family photos, framed maps, paintings that family and friends have made, photos you’ve taken, etc. If you have things on your walls now, consider switching pieces between rooms (yes this may require some hole patching) for a quick refresh. Clients are always surprised to see how different a particular piece of art looks when we move it into a new room during the design process.

It’s Day 24, today we’ll be livening up your living room with throw pillows. One of the easiest ways to refresh your living room is by adding color and pattern to your sofas and chairs with pillows.

Day 23 of The 30 Day Home Refresh is going to be the easiest day of all! The task is simple, quick, free and will have a profound impact on your wellbeing.
